About Us

Hi, my name is Abe.

I created this site to help all of my Union Brothers and Sisters keep track of and moniter their essential information needed to take advantage of all the benefits they've earned and get the most out of their career in the union.

It started out as a check stub tracker on my home computer but I soon saw the value of keeping track of my hours worked and hours paid, and to see my benefits grow in real time.

Then my computer fried.

I decided that, by putting my information on the web I would always have access to it no matter where I went or who's computer I was on. I could even view it on my cell phone with internet access.

No more books to get wet, lose, or just leave behind. Not to mention the time saved by letting the web site calculate all the possible things to be calculated for almost anything I'd want to know. I could add many links to other informative sites that could provide important information I need to make the best of my time and effort.

I am a Union Boilermaker so the first site to be completed was just for Boilermakers. I had intended to build additional sites for each of the other union trades but as popularity grew, I soon realized that the need was greater than that. Now, UnionBrother.com has been redesigned to be used by anyone in any union.

As the needs of our membership are identified, grow and change, we will be adding functions and resources to this already powerful tool to make it,

the ONE, MUST HAVE MEMBERSHIP

next to union membership itself.

Our near future plans include adding tracking capabilities for additional items, more forms useful to specific unions, and video tutorials to show members how to get the most out of this tool and verify their statements quickly and easily.

As always, your ideas and suggestions are very appreciated, let us know what you think.

Thanks for your input,

Abe
